Our entire staff is professionally trained and experienced in providing friendly "one on one" service. Bay Eye encourages and enables staff to update their knowledge on a regular basis. Our ophthalmic technicians maintain various levels of national certification, and must be recertified at periodic intervals.

In today's world, the billing department has a huge responsibility to remain current in an ever changing third-party environment. Although it is ultimately the patient's responsibility to know their insurance coverage, Bay Eye's staff goes the "extra mile" to ensure that all requirements are met for both the healthcare provider and their insurance provider.

Our front desk staff is truly the window to our practice. The information they gather at check-in enables every other department to provide accurate and efficient care to each patient. When they present you with the ever present "information updates," please be aware, the information you provide assists us to provide the highest quality of service.

When you enter the building, our Front Desk will be your first encounter with support staff. From there, you will meet representatives of our Technical staff, perhaps our Billing Department staff or our Surgery Scheduler, and then back to our Front Desk for check-out. If you need a prescription for eyeglasses to improve your vision, you also may visit our Optical Department and meet Bay Eye's Optical employees. There are also many employees you probably will not meet, who provide background services to make your visit flow smoothly.
